Dear Parents/Guardians,

We apologize for any inconveniences caused by delaying dismissal today.  This afternoon at approximately 2:50 pm we were made aware that there was a person of interest who was being sought by the police on foot in the community.  Since we have a large number of students walking home and being picked up at 3:00 pm we were advised by local law enforcement to go into secure in place and hold dismissal. Please know that we always work in conjunction with our local authorities to make these decisions and that student safety is always our top priority. Thank you.
