• Eligibility is still based on National School Lunch Program participation.
   
• For August and September, eligibility is also based on school start dates and instruction method.
   
• Benefit amounts will vary and are specific to each student.
   
• A new card will be automatically sent to each child – no application required. The child’s personal information (SSN, DOB) will activate the card.
   
• Cards will be mailed starting in October; some children may not receive a card until the end of November.
