A great start to the new year

The first day of school marked a milestone… the start of the 2022-2023 school year, and the first year since 2019 we began the year without pandemic-related restrictions.

Our faculty and staff were hard at work before we ever opened our doors, preparing buildings, classrooms, and curriculums. Many even made porch visits to students for a chance to connect before beginning the year.

Beyond our buildings, we are so grateful to all of the wonderful community partners who give their time and talent to benefit our schools and our students. We feel their support throughout the year, but during Back-to-School it’s especially apparent.

A big thank you to 7 Hills Church for donating backpacks full of supplies! This is a huge help to kick off our school year.

We appreciate the support of all of our community partners, always!

Child Care Assistance Program: the changes you need to know

Child care is essential for Kentucky families to thrive. With annual costs reaching up to $11,000, however, families across Kentucky are struggling to pay for child care.

The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps eligible families pay for child care, providing vital support to families with young children. Despite how vital the program is, very few eligible families are participating in the program, and applying for and participating in the program can be confusing.

With more families now eligible for CCAP, Learning Grove wants to make all families aware of the new qualifications.
