Board approves 2017-18 calendar
The Erlanger-Elsmere Board of Education, at its regular May 12 meeting, approved the 2017-2018 district calendar (The 2016-2017 calendar, next year's calendar, had been previously approved.). Both the 2016-2017 and the 2017-2018 calendars are available at the link below.

Erlanger Lions Carnival May 27-29
The Erlanger-Lions Carnival will take place from 6 PM until midnight on May 27th and May 28th and from 3 PM until 11 PM on the 29th at the Erlanger Lions Park at the end of Sunset Avenue in Erlanger. More information is available in the flyer below.
May 26 is Erlanger/Elsmere night at ballpark
Thursday, May 26 will be "Erlanger/Elsmere Night" at the Florence Freedom ball park in Florence. In addition to a ballgame, attendees will have the chance to get their photos with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell and to go down an inflatable water slide. There will also be a dunking booth featuring school district employees. Some of the proceeds from the night will benefit the district's Family Resource and Youth Service Centers.
Lindeman teacher earns a Golden Apple
On Thursday, April 28, the Northern Kentucky Education Council and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce held their Excellence in Education Celebration, an annual event that recognizes some of the very best educators in Northern Kentucky. At this past Thursday's event, 13 area teachers were presented the Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching. Mrs. Jennifer Martin, a teacher at Lindeman Elementary School, was one of those teachers.

Spring edition of Engage now available
The spring edition of Engage, the district's print newsletter, is on its way to the homes of residents of the Erlanger-Elsmere School District. An electronic version of the newsletter is available here. Articles include information about the district's Early Learning Center as well as a story about College Signing Day at Lloyd High School. Also included is a listing of summer events at each of the schools, along with several other stories.
