The Erlanger-Elsmere School District has partnered with Big Smiles to improve oral health for children who may not regularly see a dentist while simultaneously making it easy and convenient for parents.
The Erlanger-Elsmere School District has partnered with Big Smiles to improve oral health for children who may not regularly see a dentist while simultaneously making it easy and convenient for parents.
All children ages 1-18 are eligible for services. Big Smiles is staffed by caring, local licensed dentists and staff members who are qualified to provide examinations, cleanings, fluoride, X-rays, and sealants. They can also provide restorative services such as fillings and other minimally invasive procedures in a comfortable, familiar setting. Most dental insurance, including Medicaid, cover 100 percent of the services provided.
Big Smiles Dental is the nation’s largest mobile in-school dental program servicing nearly 500,000 children annually.
