Nine Lloyd students were recognized for completing a course of study at Northern Kentucky University – before they even graduated from high school!
The dedicated students recently wrapped up two years as part of the Young Scholars Academy, a partnership among the Northern Kentucky Cooperative for Educational Services, NKU, and partner school districts – including Erlanger-Elsmere Schools – that allows selected scholars to take a full-time college course load on NKU’s campus for their final two years of high school. As YSA students, they were completely immersed in NKU's campus life, some working toward specific degrees, others exploring interests. Every scholar had the opportunity to tailor the experience to their unique goals. Most of these students have accumulated approximately 60 college credit hours, putting them well on their way toward a bachelor’s degree should they choose that path.
Congratulations and best wishes to Lloyd Memorial High School’s 2026 YSA graduates… we are proud of you!
