Howell Elementary’s fifth annual Flying Gator Race was a cornerstone of the school’s end-of-year activities. Leading up to the main event, students spend the week in gym class learning about the Flying Pig marathon, previewing and training on Howell’s elementary course, and then interested students get to compete in the Flying Gator in front of their classmates and families.

The races occur in waves of kinder/first graders, second/third graders, and fourth/fifth graders, and provide a wonderful opportunity to celebrate health and wellness, while demonstrating what it means to be a supportive, motivated Howellagator!Howell Elementary’s fifth annual Flying Gator Race was a cornerstone of the school’s end-of-year activities.
